Lianna in Studio

Lianna came to my studio in January 2025. She was one of my first shoots in the year and I think we really set a tone for the work that I want to create this year. I am having a lot of fun (and I think the models are too) with these wet hair portraits. The textures and the way people’s hair take to the water create very interesting portraits. I love this set that Lianna and I did in my South Bronx portrait studio.

As I continue my deep dive into photographing, not just faces, but also the bodies of my subjects, I find newer ways to highlight the amazing features of the people I work with.

Towards the end of the shoot I got out my spay bottle and wet Sophia’s hair and we shot some more wet hair/skin portraits as
