I’m Evan Eugene Davis, a portrait photographer based in New York. I create timeless portraits for professionals, artists, and individuals who want photographs with character, confidence, and authenticity. No modeling experience is required—every session is guided from start to finish.

Every portrait session begins with a consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, how the images will be used, and the overall look you’d like to achieve. This helps ensure the session is tailored to your needs from the very beginning.

Plan Your Session

We’ll review wardrobe options, styling considerations, and any ideas you may have for the shoot. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share any concerns. The goal is to make sure you arrive feeling prepared and confident.

Arrive and Get Comfortable

When you arrive at the studio, we’ll take a few moments to settle in and review our plan for the session. You’ll have time to get comfortable with the space before we begin photographing. Creating a relaxed atmosphere is an important part of the process.

Guided Every Step of the Way

Most of my clients have never had a professional portrait session before. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera. I’ll provide direction throughout the session to help you look natural, confident, and comfortable.

Explore Different Looks

We’ll work through a variety of poses, expressions, and compositions during the session. Outfit changes and lighting adjustments allow us to create a diverse collection of images. This gives you plenty of options to choose from afterward.

Whether you’re updating your professional image, celebrating a milestone, building a personal brand, or simply want a portrait you’ll be proud to own, my goal is to make the process comfortable and rewarding. From our initial consultation to the final delivery of your images, every step is designed to help you feel confident in front of the camera and leave with portraits that stand the test of time.

Review Your Images

After the session, you’ll receive access to a private online proofing gallery. This allows you to view your photographs from the comfort of your home. You’ll have time to carefully review the entire collection before making your selections.

Choose Your Favorites

Once you’ve reviewed the gallery, you’ll select the images you’d like professionally retouched. Take your time choosing the photographs that best represent you and your goals. Additional images may also be purchased if desired.

Receive Your Final Portraits

Your selected images will be professionally retouched while maintaining a natural appearance. Once completed, you’ll receive high-resolution files ready for printing, sharing, and professional use. The result is a polished collection of portraits tailored to your needs.
